The meat and potatoes of any SEO campaign is content and website optimization. Search engine promotion is the stew that you place the ingredients in. When looking at other search engine optimization campaigns in your niche, it can seem like quality is not taken into consideration when it comes to rankings, but creating quality content to place on your site and to use for promotional purposes will give you a steadfast placement in the rankings on Google and other search engines. In the world of SEO marketing, it seems like success is a fleeting thing. Search engines are always changing what they are looking for in websites and they are constantly adjusting their rankings to new standards they have set. Websites that are not well promoted or optimized well will only break the top ten search results for a very short period of time before being knocked back down. In a constant quest for quality content that web surfers are bound to expect, optimized websites that do not make the grade are being shot down like deer during season. Ensuring that the content on your website is both optimized and of at least a decent quality is a must. The higher quality of your optimization and content, the better your chances of staying on top. This is the most basic form of search engine promotion and it should not be ignored. Some campaigns choose to focus more on the promotion part of SEO than the actual content quality. Backlinks from other high PR sites never hurt, and in many cases a huge promotional campaign can overshadow poor content — but this never lasts forever. A website may skyrocket through the rankings in a matter of days with heavy promotion, but soon after it will slowly drop back down if it does not have the optimization and content to hold up that sort of traffic. Bouncing traffic is not going to do your campaign any good. Use your specified keyword phrase properly on your website to encourage search engines to take a look at you, and to keep from scaring off potential traffic. Stuffing the keyword into a piece of content at too high of a density will end in search engines paying your website less attention. It also causes visitors to leave quickly due to lack of interest, which means they will not click on your displayed ads. On other websites, your promotions should also follow this method. Keeping the quality of your articles to about the same level on all sides ensures that the visitors will know what they will get when they come to your website. It also helps the overall time they spend there and it increases the chances of them clicking on your advertisements. This is a very simple and very effective method of search engine promotion that is certain to keep your site’s ranking within the top 10 on the results page. Search Engine Promotion - Pushing Your Site To The Top Of The Rankings
Monday, July 12th, 2010Search Engine Placement - Helping Your Website Climb To The Top Of The Rankings
Monday, July 12th, 2010| Executive SEO Training | Corporate SEO | Dallas SEO |
The search engine placement of a website will affect how much traffic it gets. The lower down on the overall search results, the less likely it will be for someone searching for information to come across your optimized website. Most SEO campaigns target potential visitors who are looking for information, as they are the most likely to click on advertisements in search of the product or service they are researching. Everything from the content you use to the way you promote your SEO campaign will have an effect on your search engine placement. A well-optimized website makes full use of tags, meta tags, content, and titles in order to get noticed by search engines and to let the people who are searching for their keyword know that they have the information that they are searching for. If you want to get noticed, you will have to utilize proper keyword placement. Strategically placed keyword phrases within the last, first, and the few middle paragraphs within an articles really go a long way. This is especially true when they are paired with a title that includes the keyword phrase, as well as proper tagging. If your search engine placement is less than optimal (not on the first page) and feel your website is fully optimized after having checked over it with a fine-toothed comb, then it is time to do some advertising for your site. Advertising, also commonly referred to as promotion, your website is far from an unethical practice and is done by every single SEO marketer on the world wide web. It is an absolute must to rise to the top and keep your place there, especially if a search engine changes its algorithm up. When you first look at it, promoting looks to be more for manual traffic benefit. Creating content to post on other parts of the internet with links back to your own site seems to be the perfect way to draw in new visitors who are interested in the service or product your niche is based off of. This is true to a point, however, the real gold lies in how search engines treat links coming back to a website. Each search engine looks at how many links point towards a specific domain or URL and factors that into their ranking system. Already established and older websites will almost always automatically have a higher ranking than a new SEO site, and having links on a higher ranked can do nothing but help. There is also no such thing as too many links coming back to your campaign — but posting it on services, forums, or other websites like spam will waste your time and will not help your efforts in the least. The best way to increase your search engine placement is to make the most out of your website and promote it professionally. Perfectly optimizing it and creating content that is rich with information and placing it on your site, as well as putting in effort into promotion will also help keep you in a good position for quite a time to come, as opposed to being bumped down after the next algorithm adjustment. SEO Marketing - Practices To Get You Into The Top Search Rankings
Wednesday, July 7th, 2010| Executive SEO Training | Corporate SEO | Dallas SEO |
There are tons of ways to approach starting your own marketing campaign on the internet. The most popular and debatably most profitable way is through the practices of SEO marketing. This type of approach and overall strategy is not only one of the least intimidating of options, but it is also one of the easiest for someone who is new to get into. SEO refers to “search engine optimization”, which is a practice that contains a strategic use of keyword placement and self-promotion. Even the smallest internet marketing campaign contains some sort of SEO. Working out a campaign based solely around search engine optimization is also entirely possible and possible. When an internet marketing campaign revolves around the use of search engine optimization, profits are made by people who click on advertisements or affiliate links within the website you are running. Some keywords are more likely to attract visitors who will click those advertisements, though in a large number of cases the actual content on an optimized website will be what drives them to start clicking on the advertisements and links you have on your sites. Before even getting visitors, a website needs a keyword phrase to work. This is an important step that must be taken before anything else, as the domain name should include the keyword phrase. Any and all of the content on the website should also be focused around the topic. Choosing the keyword phrase for your first campaign on the internet can be quite tricky. Simply choosing something that you like will not get you very far, as different keywords drive varying amounts of competition and traffic. Knowing how many people you could potentially attract per month is a valuable gem of information, as well as knowing how hard you are going to have to fight to be seen by any potential visitors you may have. A campaign in a more high competition keyword niche will need to be aggressive in both actual on-site content and general off-site promotional efforts. This means beefier and better content alongside incoming backlinks from other websites with a high search engine ranking. Campaigns that are in low competition niches can be more lax about promoting, but they need to have high quality content to hold their high search engine ranking. When getting down to the task of actually creating content for your internet marketing campaign articles, you need to be careful of how you handle your keyword phrase. Tossing it around all over an article is going to cause Google and other search engines to see your site as a source of spam and lacking in valuable information. Being too restrictive with it will keep search engines from noticing your website at all. Finding a medium between the two where the content looks natural often works best. Optimizing your SEO site aside from the article or articles you have up refers to including the keyword in certain parts of your website. This includes in the domain name, page titles, headers (if applicable), and tags (both meta and otherwise). The basics of starting up an internet marketing campaign are very simple and easy to follow, but things get tricky when real competition with other campaigns is involved. Every niche is different, and you may need to go through some trial and error before you can get to the top of your niche. Looking to learn more about the world of niche marketing? Making SEO Web Design Actively Work For You
Sunday, July 4th, 2010| Executive SEO Training | Corporate SEO | Dallas SEO |
Creating a highly optimized website not only means having optimized content, but also an optimized layout. Having a professional-looking and easy to read site is part of SEO web design, and is a crucial part to your internet marketing endeavor. It’s quite true that people can make money off of a site that is homely as long as the content is compelling, but unfortunately, creating truly stellar content is above what most people are able to do. Instead, combining useful content along with a layout that is attractive and easy to use can give you comparative results. Even before pondering search engine optimization, you have surely stumbled across some websites that were only marginally useful, but stuck around to read what was being said because of the easy to use layout. Optimal SEO web design should keep the keyword at a low number and make it as easy as possible to navigate for your visitors, also, hopefully navigate their way into the advertisements. The absolute best ones incorporate the advertisements to mesh with the layout, which can have a large effect on conversion rates. Aside from the layout that visitors may attention to, the meta tags should also be optimized. This is easy enough with a blog, as the meta tags are easily edited with individual posts and there are blog tools to add individual meta tags for increased optimization. With sites that do not run off of blog-type coding, you will have to insert the meta tags into the coding itself, which is easy and should be clearly labeled if you get the layout from another source. Incorporating the keyword phrase into the visible parts of the layout of the website is another part of SEO web design. If your article or site contains headers, be sure to include the keyword in them as long as you do not go overboard with it. Page title optimization is also very important and the keyword phrase should be somewhere within the first few words of a title if you want to achieve the best results. This is very easy to do and it is extremely effective. The articles on your site should have a keyword density between 1% and 2%. This keeps it at a low number to appease search engines and to avoid making it difficult for visitors to read. Creating informational articles is also a part of well-optimized SEO web design, as it adds real value to your website and ensures that it will be steady in the search engines once you have gotten up there in the rankings. Make Money On The Internet Through Niche Websites
Friday, July 2nd, 2010| Executive SEO Training | Corporate SEO | Dallas SEO |
The big thing these days is to make money on the internet, but can just about anyone do it? Is it really possible to compete against other people trying to get the very same traffic you are? Do people really click advertisements and affiliate links? The answer to all of these questions is yes. Advertising is the lifeblood of making money on the internet, you get paid for those who click on the advertisements on your website, and you yourself have to advertise your website to drive traffic. In a sense, it is one big circle — so how do you know where to jump in? A lot of new internet marketers have one of a couple of misconceptions before they really get into trying to make money online: 1)Anyone can make money fast through the use of internet marketing. 2) It’s impossible to compete against already established websites within a niche. These are, as previously stated above, misconceptions. Internet marketing should be run like a business, even if you are the only employee in your company. It can take a bit of time to become successful in the real world and the virtual world, whether you have competition in your niche or not. Keep that in mind when you begin to approach your goal of earning money online. This will do more for you than almost any other advice will. If you put up a website with some well-placed ads and good content, you still can not expect to generate income over night. Some websites do not start to see profit until after the first few months, while an overwhelming amount of them do not start to see profits until six to eight months after they have launched. That said, that is enough time to start building content and backlinks for both the search engines and potential site visitors to pay attention to. When you are going up against several larger and older websites within a niche, you need to put more towards backlinking. Google and other search engines pay close attention to the amount of links coming into your site from other domains and take these links as a sign of dominance within the niche. Use this to your advantage to create as many backlinks as possible. This is most commonly done through article submission websites, which display user-submitted content along with a link back to the writer’s own site. These services are invaluable to get incoming links to your marketing website. It is quite possible to make money on the internet, but it is nearly impossible to start rolling in anything significant overnight without some leverage. Internet marketing is a field where even the most experienced are always on their toes, learning something brand new. Taking it one step at a time will avoid confusion and make sure you will be successful. One of the best ways to make money online today is through niche marketing. With an unending pool of consumers, an internet marketer can continue to profit off of a site even after they have stopped putting effort towards it. Visit my site for advice on getting a niche site up, and to take a look at some of the programs we offer to get your web business up and running. |

Search Engine Optimization Marketing Tactics - Making The Most Out Of Your Niche Website
Sunday, June 27th, 2010| Executive SEO Training | Corporate SEO | Dallas SEO |
Search engine optimization marketing is big business these days, and everyone is trying to hop on the bandwagon to ride all the way to being a millionaire. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as putting a website up and waiting for the cash to roll in. There are thousands of websites within any individual niche just waiting to compete against your own site, and many of them are likely putting more effort into optimizing and promoting it. If they’re not slacking off, why should you? People start getting into search engine optimization marketing because they feel it will be an easy way to make money. After all, what can possible be stressful and tedious at home on the computer? Quite a bit, actually, especially if you are trying to start up a successful and lucrative marketing campaign. Internet marketing is highly competitive, in almost any niche. New websites are coming up every day, which creates more and more competition to go against. What can a new internet marketer do to make themselves successful? It’s not impossible, but it does take some very real work. The initial work lies in actually optimizing your website. Optimizing lies in a few key features, though most focus on the keyword aspect of it. Keyword optimization refers to the process of strategically placing the niche keyword within a web page. This includes within the article body, within tags (both meta and otherwise), and page names and titles. This in itself can be a difficult thing to really pull together, as it is all too easy to go overboard with a keyword. Placing the keyword time and time again within a web page can only hurt a site’s rankings and conversion rates, as search engines with penalize a website for having too much of a word and visitors will be less likely to feel the need to click the advertisements. Aside from the content, the layout also has a bit to do with the optimization of a website. This has more to do with the actual organic part of this entire process. An attractive site is a lot more likely to pull in traffic and to get them to click advertisements in most cases. Strategic advertisement placement can also result in accidental clicks, which still count towards your revenue in the long run. Carefully weigh your layout options before you decide on one so that you can get the highest rate of conversion. Search engine optimization marketing is quite the easy concept, but in actual practice, it is a very long and difficult endeavor. Avoid the mistakes that many others have made throughout times and be sure to really think about the way you place your keywords and your site’s design. These things are overlooked often by new marketers, but they are the biggest part of your rates of conversion and your profits. Looking to learn more about the ins and outs of internet marketing? SEOLinkVine - The SEO Marketer’s Review
Thursday, May 27th, 2010| Executive SEO Training | Corporate SEO | Dallas SEO |
Just about everyone’s heard the hype for SEOLinkVine, created by Brad Callen. Brad Callen is Mark Callen’s brother. Brad’s brother, Mark, developed MyArticleNetwork and Article Marketing Automation which are very popular. SEOLinkVine is comparable to those two. You may be familiar with the Beta testers who are raving about Brad’s program and what the possibilities are for online business. Of course we couldn’t miss all the hoopla and reviews, so naturally we decided to take it upon ourselves to do the same. It looks like an ordinary submission tool when we first saw it. Here’s the typical deal: you write your article or post, hand it over to the software which sends it along its way to be submitted to a million places. But the main difference now, and pay attention, is that SEOLinkVine refuses to submit your content to all the places you’ve submitted to before. SEOLinkVine has outstanding content spinning and web syndication power, but there was another feature that caught our eyes. What really impressed us was the statistics program and abilities. With most software like SEOLinkVine, you write some articles, push submit and then hope that everything goes well. There’s no way of verifying if everything worked the way it’s suppose to unless you do a bunch of manual checks. SEOLinkVine comes in with built in monitoring. This software will let you see how your articles are doing their jobs, and you can check for the number of SEOLinkVine that are linking back to your sites. We do not think you’ll find many programs providing this level of monitoring for your content. This can be a great time-saver for your business. When spinning content you’re offered to view a spun title verision derived from the original. Big deal, you say? Well, it is because with most spinners the only way to check spun titles is to load each one individually. That may not sound impressive, but first it’s good to check them and secondly it will take forever to do it manually. We cannot stress how valuable it is to be able to check each spun article title all on one display. If you are looking for overnight link building and page rank jumping, this software is not for you. While sometimes you can see your back links appear in a couple of hours, it will take time to notice your back links or changes in your search engine rankings. You really don’t want to build links too quickly because your site could suffer some negative consequences. What’s more-because it takes longer to finish the submission process, you are under less pressure to produce content at high speeds. You can take your time to write quality articles instead of focusing primarily on quantity. By now you probably think that you’ve seen and heard everything when it comes to SEO automation. Software that publishes articles or content is nothing new in IM, we all know that. Brad’s no dummy, he’s smart and realistic, and he’s not gonna tell you that you’re gonna make a killing within a week, or even two. The creators are honest - they’ll be the first to say you gotta put the work in before you reap the true benefits. Nothing is preventing you from building an impressive business with this - if you’ll put your work into it and use SEOLinkVine the right way. As I often use this program to submit my own product: Squeeze Theme and it turns out to be quite useful and beneficial. Find out more on thesis theme site. |
